Stelara needed to encourage a conversation to help patients with psoriasis.

Patients who suffer from Psoriasis have a difficult time talking to their doctor about their treatment options because they don't believe the doctors see their issues with the disease as being very serious.

The truth is, the outward physical signs of psoriasis can be an embarassing and socially-isolating problem. Because it's an auto-immune disease, it needs serious attention, and Stelara provides great skin clearance with only 4 doses a year.

In addition to a :120 and :60 DRTV spot, our team created DR print, and a Fulfillment Kit that was mailed to responders to provide more information about Stelara, and to help facilitate a conversation with the patient's doctor.
 

We also developed an iPhone app. Many sufferers of psoriasis find that their skin flares clear up by the time they see the doctor. The useful app lets them photograph their flare ups, as well as track their progress once on medication.

This enables them to have a more engaged conversation with their dermatologist. It also helps them see their progress over time, enabling adherence to the biologic.
